yes yes! you will be here during the great june-july sale! so i need to give you a day to yourself dahil i really don't want to keep up at hindi kaya ako shopper. good news is - oo! kalaki ng electronics discounts during the singapore sale. ex-flatmate howell got his powerbook from it last year.

Rule of thumb, my dear. Getting a brand new MAC is always the best option because of the one-year warranty that comes with it. Just make sure you keep the invoice because that's what the Apple Centers look for. However, if you can buy second-hand with warranty and invoice...even better =) Can't wait to see your new iBook!

I thought you needed to buy AppleCare to get warranty! Are you talking about .mac support? Is it good enough taht you don't have to buy AppleCare?

Soulstaryx

I know all powerbooks and ibooks come with a standard 1 year worldwide warranty...the Apple care warranty is the one you purchase for $100+ usd. It extends the warranty of your machine to 3 years including labor and parts. All resellers here in the Philippines include AppleCare with all portable MACs.
